Artificer is a crafting discipline that focuses on magical weapons such as focuses, scepters, staffs, and tridents. An artificer can craft items useful to guardians, elementalists, mesmers, and necromancers. Artificers can also craft potions of Slaying using dust, water, leather, monster parts, cooking materials and gemstones. These Slaying potions give benefits and bonuses against a specific race, group or class of monster.
Inscriptions
Inscriptions are a component used in the crafting of weapons. The specific inscription used will determine the attribute bonuses of the weapon. Basically, Inscriptions are made using a dowel and some rare monster body part to bind the essence of the creature to the material.
Potions
All potions of Slaying start with Water and Dust. Higher versions simply use higher-tier Dust and Extra Ingredients.
