Huntsman is a crafting discipline that focuses on ranged weapons, including shortbows, longbows, pistols, rifles, and harpoon guns, as well as torches and warhorns. This type of crafting requires a Huntsman's station. A huntsman can craft items useful to all professions except elementalists, but is particularly useful to warriors, engineers, thieves and rangers.
Inscriptions are a component used in the crafting of weapons. The specific inscription used will determine the attribute bonuses of the weapon. In general, every free weapon recipe you are given that uses a body part, such as Vial of Weak Blood to make a Mighty Crude Harpoon Gun using the (Simple) recipe, also has non-simple versions, using Inscriptions, that you will need to discover.
So with a Precise Green Inscription[s], and knowing that the simple version needs a Green Harpoon[s] and a Green Rifle Stock[s], you can "discover" the recipe for Precise Crude Harpoon Gun.
