You can also enter through an underwater passage to the right of the Bad Omen Beach POI

Tunnel goes all the way through from Quaggan side to Pirate side. After the PoI is discovered (if you entered from Quaggan side) there will be Skelks, Barracuda, and Sharks to fight through. Of course, opposite is true if you enter from the Pirate side...fight first, discover, "safe zone". ^_^
