Absolutly loving the sword and shield combo for questing and exploring the zones. Tanky is a good thing.
Warrior
Warriors are masters of martial skills. They rely on speed, strength, toughness, and heavy armor to survive. They're versatile in combat and benefit from offensive and defensive abilities. Warriors inspire allies and demoralize enemies. As a soldier profession, warriors wear heavy armor.
Axe or Mace? Rifle or Greatsword? You know, they're all good.

Abilities
Adrenaline is the warrior profession's unique mechanic. As the warrior attacks, adrenaline is built up which can be spent on a single powerful burst attack. Each weapon set has a single burst skill which has a variety of different conditions that improve with more adrenaline. Adrenaline has 3 levels, as burst skills too. Each adrenaline level increasing the effect of the burst skill.

Warriors are a great class.
Pros:
-In PvE
---High Damage output
---Excels with 2-handed weapons (Greatsword is the widely considered best weapon set for a Warrior)
---Highly Mobile
---Tankier then other classes (Heavy Armor, on par with the Guardian)
-In PVP (WvW)
---THE BEST roaming character due to high mobility
---High Burst Damage
---Warrior Support Build (Buffs, Banners) is a very effective high level PvP build.
Cons:
-In PvE
---Not many ranged abilities
---Lacks regeneration/heals compared to other classes
---If focusing on DPS, not many buffs for the group.
-In PvP (WvW)
---VERY EASILY kited
---Considered the Second Tier of Profession
---1v1 is poor vs 5/8 of the professions
---Not many buffs UNLESS gear and builds are focused PURELY on support, which in turn greatly lowers your overall damage Output.
