Welcome to Guildhead!
There are some issues with the site; it is not yet up to the standard we've set with Wowhead. This is due to the data that we are using to populate the database and the complexity with which the game is put together. The most recent patch changed a lot of things so we're working with data pre-8/23 stress test. We are still working through everything that is available to us and how to bring you the very best possible Guild Wars 2 experience.
Therefore, Guildhead still bears a “Beta” tag on its name. Currently the site is still in very active and intense development and there are plenty of bugs still left to be hunted out and squashed. You’ll see many changes coming to Guildhead as we improve the overall experience through our own quality assurance testing and the feedback from you, the community.
New & Improved Resources
We wouldn’t have given the site the "–head" moniker if we didn’t include new and improved resources. Along with the staples that you’ve come to know and love on our sites, we have some great new additions: an interactive map tool and editable sections of database pages.
The map tool will enable you to see the length and breadth of Tyria at the click of a button. We're bringing the responsiveness and detail of Google maps right to your favorite game.
Community
Community is a vital part of what makes ZAM Network's sites helpful. To ensure our pages are as informative as possible, we are now enabling edit functionality on our database pages. You may have already seen this functionality on DayZDB. While browsing the database pages, you’ll either see a line of text urging you to submit content if there is none, or an “edit” button if content already exists. It’s simple and slick.
We’ll have other improvements coming through the next few weeks (especially to the Skill Calculator), but we also want to get the community involved in these projects as much as possible. As always, we encourage you to provide feedback on our forums or Reddit (we're always keeping an eye out). For those of you that want to be even more hands-on, we’re starting up our own user testing program.
If you’re accepted (we're still working out all the details, expect more soon!), we’ll send you specific log-in information so you can test out any new tools we’re working on at Guildhead (or other sites like Wowhead or LolKing if you’re interested).
